Free Fibromyalgia Resources
The internet is full of information – I mean it’s not called the information superhighway for nothing! However, with an abundance of information, you must remember that with the good and valuable stuff, there’s also bad, terrible, and misleading information out there. Believe it or not, I’ve seen people and companies promising a cure for fibromyalgia! I’ve seen information posted that is just plain wrong, giving false hope to people, and even information that’s dangerous!
These reasons are the reasons why I’ve compiled resources of my very own to share with you for free. These quick cheat sheets and tools will help you start on your path towards feeling better and being pain free. Is this all you will ever need? Some people it has, others need far more than what this offers, but it is good information that I’m giving away.
In addition to my cheat sheets and Symptoms Checklist and Log, there is my blog and various pages all over this site drilling down into the symptoms of fibromyalgia, as well as the treatment and management of this condition. There is the Dr. Fibro Facebook community and twitter, as well as my YouTube videos, and Support Forum.
This is all yours for free, no obligations, no nothing.
So why am I doing this? Am I crazy? No, people need good, clean, and correct information about fibromyalgia. Remember when you were first diagnosed how you felt? It’s overwhelming! It’s confusing! It is downright scary! I see it day in and day out in my practice, people are diagnosed with fibromyalgia and are terrified, they do not know what to do.
Many fibro warriors who have had it for years have an abundance of information, are aware of the do’s and the do not’. They’re familiar with the ins and outs of fibromyalgia. Many of them would be happy to help you via Facebook or the Support Forums.
Remember – Every single person on this planet experiences pain differently than their neighbor. Just like how your fingerprints are unique to you, the symptoms you experience may be different from the majority of other sufferers. However just like fingerprints there are others out there who have experienced similar symptoms to you, (maybe even the same), and have advice and wisdom that they can offer you.
Fibromyalgia can dominate and ruin your life unless you take control of it, and begin to make the changes needed in your lifestyle to ensure that you can manage your symptoms. This is not an easy thing to do – nor is it accomplished overnight. Rome wasn’t built in a day, and neither was managing your fibromyalgia symptoms.
You can read or watch various success stories telling you how I’ve been able to change people’s lives, just by making simple changes in their lives. Introducing new concepts, and new ways to eat, sleep, and move in small steps. One piece at a time.
The sources on your right are free for you to use as you see fit, I hope that you get a lot of information and knowledge out of them, and hope to see you as a part of the world’s largest online fibromyalgia community!
