What is Fibromyalgia? Fibromyalgia is a widespread musculoskeletal disorder that has no obvious physical cause. Symptoms include widespread chronic pain & fatigue. The chronic pain of Fibro affects about 1 in 50 Americans. About 90% of Fibro patients seek relief from these natural treatments and remedies.

As with many other medically unexplained syndromes, there is no universally accepted treatment or cure for fibro. While there are a number of safe, natural treatments for Fibromyalgia, many doctors choose to treat the symptoms with prescription drugs instead of taking a whole-body approach to improve the overall health of the patient.

Physical treatments such as light exercise to improve fitness and sleep has been shown to reduce pain and fatigue in many people with the condition or related symptoms. In particular, there is strong evidence that cardiovascular exercise is effective.

Sleeping pills, anti-depressants, and pain medication are frequently used by general doctors who don’t have a specific background in treating fibro. These methods focus primarily on symptom removal – doing little to address the true cause of the problem. As a result, many of these treatment methods create short-term relief with long-term suffering.
